Team Canada 2 goals in the third and Bam they pull off an upset, but that was on New Years Eve. This day would have a different ending, but with help from Eberle, Canada made it one hell of a game. Down 2 goals in the 3rd and he plugs the gaping net with a couple to send it into overtime. But as you all know they did lose this thriller in the end. I hope that these guys will hold their heads high as they gave it everything they had and put together one of the most exciting tournaments I've ever seen. We took a little longer to get there because we had to stop and get our Tim's. We showed up and they were giving out Tamborines, and Glow in the dark Coke bottles. We entered and were able to get our picture taken with the Olympic torch right away. That was great in itself, but we were able to see all the past torches. Then we were able to make our way to the front of the crowd and right in front of the Olympic couldron. While we waited for Bob Gainey to bring the torch they had some entertainment. The first was a guy who painted a picture of a native girl staring into the sky, he did this with his hands and all in 8 minutes. During this they had probably the best hype man I had ever seen pumping up the crowd. Then they had a group of dancers and a couple of guys playing recycle bins with coke cans as drums. They were Awesome, the girls were hanging from a ring suspended about 10 feet in the air. After that there was a local choir and a young band, that did some GNR cover songs and some Kings of Leon. Then Bob Gainey brought the torch up, that was a pretty great feeling, to know that you were within feet of the Olympic torch being carried accross the country, the same flame that can bring peace to the world, if only for moments. To be able to share this experience with my best friend made the experience that much better and was just exceptional. This was definitely an experience of a lifetime, and something we won't soon forget.

Reno Update

So I've officially installed the tub this evening, well last night but we wont talk about it because the sucker leaked like a siv. I came to find out that I needed to add something called plumbers putty to the ring on the bottom of the drain, so that when I screwed the tub flange into it it made a tight seal. So I have done that and now voila.. The tub is operational. Well Somewhat, I've filled it for the first time to make sure that (Cross your Fingers,) it doesn't leak. So if all goes well over night I should be able to start tiling the bsck splash and the deck, and front on Wednesday. Amy is quite excited, and to tell the truth so am I.

So I've posted a few pics to show you the work don to it now.

Monday

Well, I'm about to jinx myself. Canada's cellphone bills are considered among the highest in the world along with the United States and Spain.

There also have been well-publicized stories about users who didn't understand the terms of their bills when it comes to text messaging or downloading movies or music and ended up with monthly bills costing thousands of dollars.

Quebec consumer group Option Consommateurs said the industry shouldn't be coming up with its own code of conduct.

"We've been wrestling with a code of conduct for the banks, for credit cards, nowhere have we seen it work because the codes of conduct are devised by the supplier," spokeswoman Anu Bose said from the organization's Ottawa office.

Bose said cellphone contracts are difficult to understand because there is little competition in Canada to make them more readily understandable.

"We find that choice is limited and we find that consumers, therefore, have their options really limited and you cannot leave easily without a cellphone."

But, Lord said the new code will give consumers the information they need to make informed decisions.

"This will mean good service, better service, easier to resolve complaints," he said from Ottawa.

If a consumer's complaint isn't resolved after 30 days, the consumer can go to Canada's Commissioner for Complaints to have it resolved, said Lord, former premier of New Brunswick.

Bose said consumers "already have to go through the maze that is the complaints procedure" and then have to spend more time taking the complaint to another level.

All the major wireless services providers have signed on to the new code of conduct, including Bell, (TSX:BCE), Rogers (TSX:RCI.B), Telus (TSX:T), Videotron (TSX:QBR.B), MTS Allstream (TSX:MBT) and new players Public Mobile and WIND Mobile.

"The code is very clear that our carriers will provide consumers with complete details of rates, the terms of coverage in each of their plans, that the advertising will be clear and they will communicate with consumers in a way that they understand," Lord said.

Anthony Lacavera, CEO of new cellphone player WIND Mobile, has been an advocate of easy-to-understand contracts.

"We think it's a great step to bring some transparency and some clarity to what is really a very confusing product purchasing experience and product experience for consumers," he said.

Lacavera hopes to have WIND Mobile operating by late this year or early next year.

The code gives consumers the ability to budget for their cellphone costs, he said from Toronto.

But he noted that providing good customer service is a challenge.

"There have been so many bad experiences out there that we thing we have a good benchmark to say 'This is what we can't do."'

Technology analyst Duncan Stewart said cellphone bills shouldn't be complex.

"The bills should, in fact, be understood by people who don't have PhDs in nuclear physics," said Stewart of Toronto-based DSAM Consulting.

Stewart said he doesn't find it unusual that the industry came up with its own code because professionals such as doctors, lawyers and engineers devise their standards of conduct.

He added that cellphone contracts will now bind wireless providers and consumers to the terms of a contract and prevent arbitrary changes.

"When we, as consumers, signed them we had to do what was said but they didn't," Stewart said of cellphone companies.

This was taken from the following website:

http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20090901/090901_cellphone_code/20090901/?hub=CP24Home

Bryan and Kara's Wedding - What an Adventure

So we decided that it would be best if we stayed overnight at my sisters in Toronto. That way we could leave there at around 9:30am and be in Niagara Falls to go to IHOP, because Amy loves IHOP. Unfortunately I forgot my dress pants so we had to go buy some when we got to Niagara, luckily I purchased a new dress shirt on Orfus Rd. the night before. So we get to Niagara Falls at about 11:00am, so we head to Wal-Mart to grab some dress pants, pick up the things we need there and get out around 11:45am. So were headed to IHOP, and get stuck at a train crossing, and I think to myself I better check the directions to the Wedding Chapel, and make sure we have a good plan. That's it that's the moment I wish never happened, the moment I thought. Yeah you laugh now, you haven't heard anything yet.
The GPS tells me that to get to Niagara on the Lake, I have to get back on the highway and go about an hour the other way. I freak, cause now its like noon, the weddings at 1:30pm we haven't eaten, and I still have to change. I know that its only like 10 minutes from Niagara Falls, but its a GPS Unit so it can't be wrong right. well that's a big yeah right, cause now Ames and I are jetting back down the QEW, and up another highway, she's upset and I feel horrible because she was really looking forward to IHOP. Were both saying this isn't right, but I of course keep telling myself its a GPS. Can't be wrong. So were flying down the road and Amy looks up and as she reads the sign I pass the next exit, sign says "Last exit before the U.S.A. border. Ummm pardon, yeah so now we come to the border and I really start to trip, because now its about 12:30pm, and neither one of us has our passport, of course.
We pull up to the booth and I explain to the guy what has transpired and that I didn't mean to come to the border, and all I really want to do is pull a U-Turn. He looks at my license and says Halloween baby, your really screwed and laughs. Shows me how were to pull a U-Turn and says good luck, really nice guy.
So there's 5 open Canadian border guards open, so I choose the shortest line. Big mistake, big big mistake, I pull up and the car in front of us takes about 5 more minutes, and now its our turn. I again explain what has happened and let the lady know where we are trying to go for a wedding, and that we have less than an hour to get there and all. She then says, and I quote, "Do you know anything about geography? Because this here is lake Erie, and you need to be on Lake Ontario!" Wow this womans a bitch, but I keep my calm and laugh with her. She then asks if the American Boarder Officer gave us any paperwork, how much currency we have, if that's a gift in the back seat for the wedding, if we have any weapons to declare, and if we purchased anything in the U.S., "WTF", lady I just told you we pulled a freaking U-Turn because we made a mistake. I answer all her questions really politely, hand her a receipt for some things in the back seat, that says we purchased them less than an hour ago in Niagara Falls. She tells us that Niagara-On-The-Lake is only 45 minutes away, and oh it's only 12:35pm you'll make it, but please pull into stall #3 an officer will be out to check your car in a few minutes.
So were sitting there waiting, I'm starting to get ancy, and out comes the officer, I explain to her what's gone on, and give her the same receipts. She says ok so pop your trunk, it hits me, now keep in mind we just crossed the border not once but twice. "Maam before you look in there I have to tell you that I borrowed my neighbors truck yesterday to take some stuff to the dump, and there were some things in the truck so I took them out. I forgot to put them back in when I returned the truck so I threw them in my trunk until I return them, maam there's an Axe in my trunk." Yeah we just took a weapon accross the border not once but twice. She chuckles a little, takes the receipt for the stuff in the back seat, looks in my trunk, opens some bags, insects the AXE, and looks at a receipt for the clothes Amy bought in Toronto the night before. She comes back gives me the receipt and says have a nice day. So were now on our way back to Niagara Falls, after we pay $3.25 to get back into Canada, and I call Ryan at work to get some proper directions. He's explaining to me how to get to Niagara-On-The-Lake, and my GPS goes "Ding-Ding" and re calculates the right directions into it. So I let Ryan go and were now headed down the right path, pull of onto Mountain Rd. And start following that and BAM, road closed, so we now have to pull a U-turn and head down their detour. We run into the construction line of about 10 cars, and I looked at Amy.
"Honey pull my sleeve," off comes my shirt, pants, push the break, let it go, put it in park, put one sock on, put it in gear, drive ahead, put it in park, on with the other sock, put it in gear and drive ahead, put it in park, on with the pants up to the knees, put it in gear and pull ahead some more, break, pull up the pants, put on the shirt, pull ahead, break, button up the shirt and tuck it in, pull ahead, put on my tie and tie it, pull ahead to the sign lady, and I'm dressed. Wow that was the fastest and most intense 3 minute dressing while driving drill I've ever done.
So now were on our way again, and racing the clock, we have 17 minutes to get there but the GPS says we need 25, speed up a little, and make up some time. We pull into the town, and low and behold, I look down the side street and there's a Limo. We pull up the nest street and in front of the Limo, allow a car to get between us, and they slow the Limo down. We pull up to the church, and there's two churches. Amy grabs my dress shoes out of the trunk, a throw them on and start darting down the sidewalk. All the while Amy has been left behind in heels, so I go back and walk with her, and yeah the Limo pulls up. We literally raced the bride to her wedding. But we made it, and it was all worth it, they had a beautiful small wedding. A single guitarist playing in the background, and rose pedals on the floor along the pews. Oh and I matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly, not even a different shade. The dinner was fantastic, and the wine tour was brilliant. Ames and I learned how to actually taste wine and enjoy it. The guitarist, was then joined by a chelloist, and a drummer and they played the crowd of 30 or so, which made for a very intimate, and relaxing wedding reception. So all in all after the most stressful wedding approach, we got there on time, enjoyed in partaking in the festivities, my wife looked beautiful, and we had an amazing time. Thank you and Congratulations to Mr. And Mrs. York.

Employment

So just to start off, I am pleased and appreciative that I am employed, I truly am. I just can't stand that I get paid to be someones emotional punching bag, and not get paid enough to do it. I wish that I had a "real job" something with benefits, and sick pay, where I went home at night and still wanted to go back in the morning. I was having another inferior turbinate reduction, and having some scar tissue removed.
Well I guess they had to give me twice the amount of anesthetics to put me out. then after they operated I woke up in a rage, I tore. out the tubes in my throat, my I.V. And all my monitoring equipment. The Dr. Told me he had to hold my shoulders while a nurse had to grab each arm and leg. After I passed back out they finished up and wheeled me into recovery.
That's when the scary stuff began, I woke up in agony of course. And I was coughing like there was no tomorrow, the only thing coming up was Blood. After about 5 minutes the nurses started to worry about it, of course I could hear them whispering but not what they were saying. I kept drifting in and out of consciousness, and continued to cough up blood. I kept asking for the to go get Amy but no one would. So now I'm starting to panic a little, well a lot when the Dr. Came out of his next surgery to check on me. He said he'd be back in a half hour to stop the bleeding, I asked what it was. I guess when I woke up furosiously I popped one of the cotterized blood vessels, and it was dripping into my throat. So about 2 or 3 naps later the Dr. Came back. I sit up and he turns around and shoves this tampon up my left nostril which pushes everything in the nose out the back of my throat and out my mouth. So now I look like the people from 28 days later after they've been infected, but feel like Rich Franklin after his last fight.
So the surgery was at 10:30am, and should of been about 3 hours including recovery, but its now like 5:00 pm, they finally went an got Amy for me. All I wanted was for her to be with me, cause I knew shed be worried out of her mind, and I needed her, man how I needed her. So the Dr. Decides he's gonna keep me over night, cause I can't keep my oxygen levels up above 89, I guess its supposed to be like 92. The alarms are going off on the monitor, my eyes are burning from the oxygen pumping straight into them out of the mask, and I'm starving. Thankfully I have Amy beside me to keep me calm and relaxed, she's an amazing care taker. I feel horrible at this point but she's got a hand on my head, and that's all I needed to keep me in tune. the nurse brought me over a couple digestive cookies, and oh my goodness, they were probably the best baby crackers I've ever tasted, the an egg salad sandwich and ask Amy, I fell in love. So around 8:00pm they wheel me upstairs give me something for pain, and my beautiful wife is finally able to go home and rest. Unfortunately she couldn't sleep, which is all I could do. In and out, in and out, (consciousness) what's that I had no ability to control my own mind.
The next morning Amy brought me a coffee, and 5 minutes later th Dr. Came in with one too, I felt amazing considering the previous day.
Its been a week and three days since and last night was the first night that I could breath out of both nostrils. Wow what a difference in the quality of sleep when you can breath. Hopefully it is fixed, well know for sure in another couple weeks I guess. So that's it, that's what has been going on here, been down and out, I just want to say thank you to my wonderful wife, she is my stone and has the ability to help ease you through rough situations. I love you.

Leafs Home opener

Well although it was a good game, the outcome was horrible. I think that the new look of the Leafs is great, their young an fast. Again like last season though, they lost the lead in the third period and lost the game in the end. So instead of walking away with a home opening win and 2 points, we have to head to work, or wherever and look the Habs fans in the egos. If anything though, Stajan looks to be growing some more, Mitchell seems to be a great faceoff man, and Komisarik, well he's definitely a leaf at heart. I think he took 8 PIM's in the third alone. I said it already, its gonna be a great season this year, I don't expect much more than a growth spurt for the buds, but its gonna be exciting nonetheless.

Funny People

So I know its been a while since my last blog but, here's a good one for you. (True Story)
So I head to the batheroom the other day, at work. And this guy walks in in front of me, there's only one urinal so I go into the stall. I finish and wash my hands, I turn to leave and head back to work. When this guy passes by me out the bathroom door, without washing his hands. Don I follow him right into my store, so I grab some paper towel, and dry my hands infront of him.
He then pulls his phone out of his pocket and puts it on the desk and asks me to check his airtime and add some money to the account. Now knowing who he is, not such a nice person, and where he just was, I have to options. Be nice and decline respectfully with an explanation or be rude.

Work

So we all have good days (well. Not horrible days,) at work, and then we all have bad days at work. I just wish that we all had happy medium days all the time at work. I understand what my job entails, but my customers don't. Now I usually go above and beyond my job for most of my customers, but they don't realize that, they just expect it. I think that's the part that really disturbs me, that and the management above me.
Take my wifes job, her job is stressful, very, and the middle management above her is supposed to help relieve that. But of course their pretty much unqualified, glorified, people that think they remember how to do the job that my wife does. What they start to forget is that the job that they're harping about is a lot more stressful than they remember. So hey middle management, ease up, release the talons, and let us all do our jobs to the best of our ability and leave here at the end of the day with our sanity and a half smile, so we can get back to our real lives. Please, I beg of you let us be moderately happy for our spouses, friends, and family.

Finally!!!!!

So Sam and I went out again last night, we stopped at the same spot on the Ganaraska. We pulled up and down to the river we went, but nothing, one fish passed by us in 5 minutes. So we figured it was gonna be a quiet night, hopefully not though. We pulled further down river into Port Hope and stopped on the bridge. We got out to check it out and noticed that everyone down at the river was pulling in a fish. We decided to start there and work our way down river, we never left the first spot. The fish were running past us like Godzilla was chasing them up stream, I mean there were literally fish splashing me as they were going past. So Sam the "Salmonman" drops his line in and yep catches one, lets it go, drops his line, got another, releases it. I mean c'mon man, bloody hell, I feel like Daniel LaRusso being shown the ropes by Mr. Miyagi, "Fish On, Fish Off, now you try."

So I get one on, fight for a minute and I lose it, get another one on and wouldn't you know, I Finally land my first Salmon, its not a huge one but good enough for me. I can finally say I've caught a salmon; it weighed in at a whopping 11lbs. But the next two were just a little bit bigger, the second one was closer to 30lbs not lying Sam can vouch, and the Third was around 20 - 25lbs. probably some of the most fun yet was the fact that Sam was pulled in the river by one of his many catches last night. So were sitting there he gets one on, wrestles with it for about 5 minutes, the thing run right up on the rock ledge, I put my rod down to go and get the net. As I do Sam figures hell, it’s at my feet I'm just gonna grab its tail. So he's still holding his rod in his right hand and reaches down and grabs its tail with his left hand. I look over just in time to see the fish wiggle and Sam go feet first into the river, I couldn’t stop laughing, but not once does he let go of his rod. Keeps the tip up and the fish on, hilarity at its best, and history is the rest.

City Transit

So I'm taking the city transit today, something I'm not accustom too, but car's broke and Ames and my schedule didn't match up. So I'm riding the bus and have noticed a few things about it, price has gone up by about $.75 since last time I took it, the seats now have holes in the fabric to brush the dirt out. And the shocks are about 9000 times better. Above the door there's and advertisement that says, - Pregnant, know your options - Peterborough Pro life. The only place outside of a Dr.'S office you see that, the city pushing their views on people, nice. At the central bus terminal is the sound of children screaming, about 5 of them, all screaming at their teenage mother (not kidding) ironic eh. The CB Radio is blasting the voice of the drivers joking about the passenger that just got stuck in the door, kinda priceless. All that and I'm listening to someone blow their ear drums with their oversized headphones. Now, normally I probably wouldn't say this but the ride to work today was enjoyable, only because I was trying to see why everyone complains about city transit. Come on guys its not that bad, aside from the fact that it takes an extra 35 minutes to get to work, the city is quite colorful this time of year. In more ways than one.

Happy Birthday Diane

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday Diane,
Happy birthday to you.
Love you sister, we hope you have a great day and get everything you want, yeah that too. We have to take the tub out, redo the Red Guard, two coats, then put the tub in and on a layer of thinset. Plumb the tub, apply the DensSheild to the front of the surround. Thinset and Red Guard that. Then do the mudding and taping on that side of the room. Build the Shower wall, and mud and tape that. Tile the entire bathroom, tub surround and all, Seal the tile, sand the whole room (Which is the worst part.) Final coat of mud and sand again, primer, and Paint. Then Build the Rear shower wall, Finish Plumbing the shower, Apply DensSheild, pour mortar for the floor, hook up the drain, thinset and Red Guard the shower walls. Tile the shower, and install the light fixtures. Install the glass doors, Seal all the tile, and finally take a bath. We stopped at the Ganaraska River, and tried there first Sam snagged one about 20Lbs, he released it. He got another on the line and he let me feel what it was like to fight it, so about 4 minutes in the darn thing snapped my line. So enough there so we headed out to the pier, after a little bit, snap Sam snags another one, this one he kept, it was a go 27-30Lbs (Picture attached.) I got another one on the line and wouldn't you know it, line breaks. So I've never tied a salmon fishing line so I got Jon to. Well while he's tying mine, doesn't he get a real nice bite, so I of course grabbed his line and wham. On goes the fight, a good ten minute battle and finally, I get him to the side of the pier. Sam reaches down with the net to pull him up and the fish does one more roll towards the net. Doesn't the darn thing have a huge spoon lure stuck in his mouth, the thing tangles up the net and catches my line. You guessed it, tears my line and the friggin thing gets away. Now I was really frustrated, cause man I want to snag my first one, cause the battle is soo much fun. So away we go again, get one on, start the fight, 5 or so minutes goes by and we hear a "CRACK," all I can think is oh no I broke the rod. Look up, nope, look down and the fish took all my line. Yeah nothing left on the reel, well that was that. It was an amazingly relaxing time though, Thanks again Sam it was a blast.

Friends

You ever sit back sometimes and realize how great your friends really are. Sometimes you'll just be sitting there and be like wow, I have some great friends. You may not hear from them for a while; so what, you may not see them for a while; big deal, but when it comes down to it they'll be there when you need them. Well the ones that really care will be take my buddy Brownie, Brownie and I haven't talked for a while, not for his lack of trying, dude puts forth a huge effort I just work too much, and I know as soon as we do get in touch it will be like nothing has ever changed. He'll still be just as kind as he always is, well still feel like brothers when the conversation is over. Just to know that you have been a good enough person inside that you have been able to surround yourself with others in life that care about you makes you fill up with pride. Brownie and I have been best friends since grade 5, we've had our arguments and our disagreements, we've gotten ourselves into our fair share of predicaments, but that guy's amazing, there's nothing bad that I could ever say about him. Or the guy who gets you back into doing something you love, something that will help save you some stress, or the one who just cares about your well being. The one who drops anything anytime to come help you, they have no excuses for anything, no matter what they're doing they help out. The ones who visit you when you’re sick or even call you on your B.S. Those are the kind of friends you know will be there forever, the kind you want there forever. So when you read this, take a moment and call one of your great friends, not for any other reason but to say "Thank you, for being there."

General Public

This was written last night but never made it through;
I love the general public, but why do people think that because I wear a shirt that I am the company. I'm sitting in Tim Hortons, and I have my work shirt on. There's a woman sitting with her daughter, and two friends two tables over from me and their pretty much screaming about the company. Looking right at me like if they say it loud enough, I'm gonna jump right up and either fix all their problems, or get into an argument with them. Welllllllll, I'm not, so keep going ladies, exhaust all your anger issues amongst yourselves, ill see you tomorrow when you need a new handset, when your asking me for a deal. But everyone can relate to this, you could be happy all day and then bam, someone says or does something and your in a really bad mood andfeel hurt.

Happy Birthday's are in order

So just wanted to shout out a Happy Birthday to Ryan ford and Bryan York, both of you hopefully will have a herwy birthday.

Tell me why, I hate Mondays, well Tuesdays

So today is just your typical Monday, first someones pacing at our store door, complaint. It started with us sleeping in till 10, wow its been a while since we've done that, then when we did get up and showered we went to the farmers market. Our first time ever, I know I know how is that our first time. Bought some amazing produce, then went grocery shopping. After that we went and spent some time cat sitting Dice, and then went to visit Sam. We borrowed his net and went to the creek near by and caught some cray fish. We then went down to squirrel creek and had a picnic and Amy read while I fished. We just spent some quality time together, we needed it, so here's some pictures from the day.

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WFig4V33m_o/SqWumQYjnuI/AAAAAAAAAHU/qBS_m78ZYJk/s1600-h/SSA40103.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; I'd never done that before and wow would it of been really cool to catch one of those things. The Guy beside us caught three of them and they were huge. But I think the worst was when Sam was fishing, and some dingbat across from us cast his line right over Sam’s, so Sam being the nice guy just reeled his in and moved, yeah at that precise moment the dude caught one. Sam was pissed, so ten minutes goes by and bang he casts it right over Sam again. Well Mr. Not so Nice this time, yells "Hey your crossing my line, cast it over big guy, and this time to my right." Dude mumbled a little but reels in and does as he's told. A side Sam never really shows, but it works, lol, made me laugh for a little while, Sam’s serious when it comes to his fishing. The surgery went well, hurt like hell, but reasonably well, the recovery took forever. I have now gotten some built up scar tissue in my left nostril, and had a follow up appointment this morning with the "unnamed," surgeon. Unfortunately up to this point it looks like the mans secretary never told him because he doesn't seem to be coming in today, let's just say I'm not really pleased. I should've known when there was no confirmation call yesterday. So now the other Dr. In this office is trying to get in touch with him to see what to do. As I sit here I am getting more and more frustrated and it really sucks, cause I was really looking forward to finding out what we were going to do about this scar tissue, ill give him 5 more minutes..................

Anniversary Date

Amy and I decided we were going to go out for dinner and a movie this evening to celebrate our anniversary and just spend time together tonight. So I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of Steak but wow we went to a restaurant called Hobart’s and it was amazing. Amy had the Rib eye steak with a twice baked potato and a Cesar salad, I had the Flat Iron steak topped with Grilled onions, Peppers, and Mushrooms and a twice baked potato, and a Cesar salad. I have a new found love for Steak, we had it cooked Medium well done, so there was a little bit of pink in it and it was probably the tastiest piece of meat I've ever eaten. Amy and I both agree that Hobart’s is now our new favorite restaurant, the Meal was amazing, the service was excellent, and the Chef gave me a recipe for Chimichurri sauce, which is a steak sauce I had on our honeymoon in Dominican. Then we went and saw the movie The Final Destination in 3D, the 3D part was great, and the Movie was a typical teenage bust. But all in all we had an amazing evening spent just between us; I just wanted to tell her again, happy anniversary and I love you with all of my heart.

Happy Anniversary

So Three years ago today, I woke up and the first thing I thought of was "Wow, today is the day I marry my best friend," I must admit I didn't realize how quick that day would be over. Our wedding was fantastic and graceful, and all those who helped and participated made it amazing, but what really made that day complete and utterly the most perfect day of my life was..................Staring into my fiancé’s eyes with no other sounds present. When we stood at the alter it was like at that very moment in time, our moment, the earth had stopped spinning, and there was no movement anywhere, No people talking, no babies crying, no traffic moving, it was literally just her and I standing there. I remember very vividly, looking into her big beautiful brown eyes, swollen with tears of joy, and seeing her smile so big and bright, watching as she shuttered with an energy that seemed to be nervous yet so calming to me. Holding her hand in mine, and knowing that this is it, this is the moment that she had been waiting for her entire life, am I everything that she wanted? Am I what she had expected when she dreamed of this as a little girl? I didn't know the answers to those questions, but what I did know is that she was the answer to all of mine, she was, is, and always will be my everything. She’s the biggest part of my day, the happiest part of my thoughts and the warmest part of my heart. She's my wife now and not my fiancé, for the past three years I have been blessed to have gone through life with her by my side. When I say I’ve found my true love, I mean I’ve found the one person in life that knows exactly who I am, inside and out, the one who knows me for me, my wife is my soul mate this I know. I know because when I think of her I still get warm inside, my soul burns with the desire to hold her, my heart aches when she’s not close, my mind wanders throughout the day; and I find it when it’s found her. I just wanted to say Happy anniversary to my baby girl, three years down, forever to go, I love you with all of my heart and can't thank you enough, you have made me the happiest man ever.

Tue, Sep 1, 2009

Holy cow, I can't believe its already september, where has the year gone. They gave me some great advice on how to fix my mix-up, and it sounds a lot easier than I expected. But all that know me know that I'm a bit of a perfectionist and needed to know exactly how to fix it. So instead of the tiles going under the tub flange they will now butt up against the side of it, Thank you Harry and Randall, all of your information was extremely helpful.
