Update

Well, it's been a very long time since I've posted an update. I've been very busy in life and I guess I never even thought to share, now that's very rude of me and I apologize. So since my last update I've almost achieved my goal weight, I've started playing Rugby again, I've changed jobs, almost finished that bathroom, bought a new car, and so much more. I will try and update on all of this through the next few weeks, and begin to share my experiences again.

World Jr's

Well its over for another year, it wasn't the outcome we wanted but it was an extremely entertaining tournament. Team Canada 2 goals in the third and Bam they pull off an upset, but that was on New Years Eve. This day would have a different ending, but with help from Eberle, Canada made it one hell of a game. Down 2 goals in the 3rd and he plugs the gaping net with a couple to send it into overtime. But as you all know they did lose this thriller in the end. I hope that these guys will hold their heads high as they gave it everything they had and put together one of the most exciting tournaments I've ever seen. No shame in Silver boys, no shame in silver.

Torch Relay

Amy and I went down to Morrow Park on Tuesday December 18th for the Olympic torch run. We took a little longer to get there because we had to stop and get our Tim's. We showed up and they were giving out Tamborines, and Glow in the dark Coke bottles. We entered and were able to get our picture taken with the Olympic torch right away. That was great in itself, but we were able to see all the past torches. Then we were able to make our way to the front of the crowd and right in front of the Olympic couldron. While we waited for Bob Gainey to bring the torch they had some entertainment. The first was a guy who painted a picture of a native girl staring into the sky, he did this with his hands and all in 8 minutes. During this they had probably the best hype man I had ever seen pumping up the crowd. Then they had a group of dancers and a couple of guys playing recycle bins with coke cans as drums. They were Awesome, the girls were hanging from a ring suspended about 10 feet in the air. After that there was a local choir and a young band, that did some GNR cover songs and some Kings of Leon. Then Bob Gainey brought the torch up, that was a pretty great feeling, to know that you were within feet of the Olympic torch being carried accross the country, the same flame that can bring peace to the world, if only for moments. To be able to share this experience with my best friend made the experience that much better and was just exceptional. This was definitely an experience of a lifetime, and something we won't soon forget.

Reno Update

So I've officially installed the tub this evening, well last night but we wont talk about it because the sucker leaked like a siv. I came to find out that I needed to add something called plumbers putty to the ring on the bottom of the drain, so that when I screwed the tub flange into it it made a tight seal. So I have done that and now voila.. The tub is operational. Well Somewhat, I've filled it for the first time to make sure that (Cross your  Fingers,) it doesn't leak. So if all goes well over night I should be able to start tiling the bsck splash and the deck, and front on Wednesday. Amy is quite excited, and to tell the truth so am I.

So I've posted a few pics to show you the work don to it now.
